First Wattway solar road pilot in US pops up in rural Georgia

The first Wattway solar road in the United States is popping up in rural Georgia. On an 18-mile stretch of road, the Ray C. Anderson Foundation, named for sustainable manufacturing pioneer Ray Anderson, will test renewable technologies like Colas' Wattway road system, which generates clean electricity even as cars travel atop it.
