Worlds largest offshore wind farm opens in The Netherlands

On Monday, Dutch officials opened the Gemini wind park, the largest offshore wind farm in the world. With 150 wind turbines spinning approximately 53 miles (85 kilometers) off the northern coast of The Netherlands, the project is capable of generating about 600 megawatts at full winds - enough renewable energy to power 785,000 Dutch households.
